I went through your thread, and noticed that you had a Berrien Chassis. Over the weekend I noticed that The Frame Head of my chassis is REALLY Tweaked. (I have Photos of the problem on the Facebook page.) All that being said, I am thinking about a Berrien Chassis but not sure.... What do you think, and how did you title it?

In 1963 VW had an upgrade where you could have a Berrien Chassis or the regular pan. I found one of those rare Beetles and used that chassis so its registered as a 1963 Beetle.

Got a new motor in the buggy. Not the one I was building but a nice Testbud motor(longblock) to get me going for the RoundUp. 1904cc Single Empi 40, electronic Ign. Runs out pretty good. Needs a little fine tuning but is passable at this point.

Technically its better to not paint it but it was already done and in a buggy it doesnt really matter anyway  Thanks

The buggy ran good this weekend. The motor now has 100 miles on it. Small leaks found but Testbud will fix those up no problem. I need to do the rear axle seals/bearings and finish the artwork on the passenger side pod. Surprising how many people looked at the buggy but didn't realize the two sides were painted different until I said to look again.
Oh one other thing, this itchy shifter needs adjusting bad. I think Ken ran up my butt a couple times while I was trying to find first gear

Motor is in for a second time. Installed with a drag clutch but couldn't push the pedal very well. Back to a new stock clutch. Fixed the headlight swith. Now I can drive it finally.

Thinking about selling this instead of letting it collect dust in the garage. Let me know if anyone is interested.
