For some reason I was thinking that this was a big show with way more than just four cars. But seriously I'm lI liking the size of those trophies. John that's the nicest doom buggy award I've seen. Way to go guys. :D :D :D

Cool hand richard... I want to be just like him when I get old.

Jk... love the pics. This sounds like a good time show.

Besides BrianB and Bill who is planning to be at the Wallis show this year? Only 2 weeks away.

I want to go to Wallis, but I'm not sure if I can.
Probably won't know until near last minute.

Does your route bring you thru Katy? We could swing by Biggio's and all three ride in together.

Let's do it. Short ride from my house. Leanne has decided to stay home for the day, the heat really got to her in Schulenburg.

I drove through Wallis this evening and if there are more than 3 car at this show, someone will be parked out of the city limits.

Doesn't look like I will make it. We got family stuff that needs to be takenice care of. I'm disappointed. This looks like a good time.

Dang that's one of the best arguments I ever heard. Looks like I will be driving by early. Probably only be able to stop for a very quick visit without a buggy.

On a different and unfortunate note, Christy Wells has been in the hospital the last couple nights after a very nasty fall. She is home tonight and it doesn't look like anything that shouldn't heal over time. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. I'm sure they will appreciate it.

My mom and brother live in Friendswood. I found that I can get there through Wallis to Rosenburg and hit 59 to 6. Other than 59 right there in Rosenburg, that route is not to bad. And way better than going through Katy or any part of the Houston city limits. Should be driving by, why not stop and spend a few minutes.

Today is the last day to Pre-register and get a $5 break on entry fee plus get a free T shirt. To make the deadline you'll have to register online at www.wallistexas.org/Events.htm

That's a heck of a deal for a great car show with a great weather forecast

So far we have 95 Pre registered.

Drove the Buggy in to work today. This weather, and the weather for this weekend will be Awesome. Way to go Bill!

Never got a definitive answer on what we are doing the morning of the show. Are we going to meet somewhere in Brookshire Bryan? I need to spend Friday night cleaning the girl up (talking about the Buggy, not the wife).

Call me with the plan when we know something for sure.

Hey Vince, you are right, the weather is shaping up very nicely and I'll gladly take credit for it. :D

I think Brian B was talking about meeting up with you and Bryan. I live in Rosenberg, and will drive directly to the show.

I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again.

Will do. Do you know if Brian B is coming?

I know we also have a "Sand Rail" entered.

When you arrive tell the parking people Bill Knesek with the Autofest has a place reserved for you and I'm planning to do it in the same place we have been before.

Any idea of when you all will arrive?

Wow! It's nice to be a missed! Sandy says I have to go to this family reunion thing and I WLL NOT be able to join the Wallis Car Show crowd. DOUBLE DANGIT!!

See you sissy's at the VW Harvest, I hope. Ken, drink one for me if you have time, and post-up a few pics if you get a chance. I'm headed to Grady's Bar B Q for some brisket and a beer... I'll drink one for you. That makes us "even", right?

Cheers, dudes...

We set a new record for the Autofest with 220 Entries and a very large crowd of visitors.

And, we also had some very special visitors, and that really made the Autofest special for me.

What a great show and always great to see our friends. Thanks for the family picture Bill.
Some of the nicest automobiles I have seen.

Among some I wasn't real sure what they were, except extravagant!

This may not be everyone's cup of tea, but there's no denying this car was a canvas and the artist was very talented.

Cha Ching!

The amount of talent that goes along with a paint job like that is AMAZING. And I'm sure the amount of money that goes in to a paint job like that is AMAZING too! If I had half that talent...
