Hi Bob and Pam... have fun. Let us hear who you bump into at this show. I think we went to this one last year, then the NASCAR race on Sunday after...

This is less than 2 weeks away? Susan and I are planning on being there. Anyone else going to make it?

Another good show by FW Volks Folks. New location is nice, a little funky to find but nice tree'd area. Would be nice if the lake wasn't drained during their "off season."
Cars were parked off pavement, a little dusty on the grassy area but no big deal (might get interesting after a rain.)
I'm guessing about 10 'glass buggies, well over 150 entries overall.
For the first year at a new location it was an excellent show (nice and relaxed as always.) I'm anxious to see what they do next year.
Didn't get to stay for the awards, we had two pups at the house that were pretty much up to their eyeballs so we thought it best to take care of the "kids."

I didn't bring my car or stay for awards so I can't help you there.

Yes very nice day, though it started out about 40 degrees... Fun and great to see lots of familiar faces - 1st place was the lowered red buggy w turbo motor and drag bars (name?), 2nd was Greg's Manx and tied for 3rd was our Green Imp along with a nice original blue buggy w vintage plastic seats. Here are a few pictures I took:

There was also lots of space in the new Burger Lake venue but our category ended up very bunched up, so sorry there aren't more good buggy or people pictures...

Red buggy that took first was Manny's turbo buggy. He's still around. He came with his two boys...who were trying to talk dad into letting them drive.....
Congrats to Manny and Jeff .
Gina and her husband were there too. She didn't bring her pink buggy but he brought his bug...yes he really does have one, just like he said.
Looking forward to next falls show.
