Next Saturday, May 3rd the Nevada Volunteer Fire Department will be holding it's 2nd annual car show to help raise money for the department. The registration fee is $20. Time: 1 pm to 4 pm. The show will be at Hwy 205 and Hwy 78 in Lavon (next door to Sonic). Registration starts at noon. Would love to see some buggies there!

Thanks to everyone for coming out yesterday to help support our fire department at the car show. We really enjoyed seeing everyone. Here is a few pics from yesterday.

Image

Billy gave Flo and Christie a ride in the big red fire truck. Flo rode in the front seat and got to honk the big horns as they drove thru town. Big kids at play....

Billy also showed them all the equipment and explained how all the tools etc were used.

Each of the buggies won a top 20 award. Bob also won the 50/50.

The Texas Manx Dune Buggy Club also won the club participation award.

Thanks again to everyone for coming out to the show and then going to lunch at our favorite local Mexican food restaurant El Rodeo. See everyone in Marble Falls.

By the way on the short cruise after the show Billy had a slight problem with the gas peddle. Those new carbs sure do create a lot of issues........

Thanks for posting the great pictures and great to hear the show went well. That line up of Buggies looked very nice and CONGRATS 8-) 8-) 8-) to the Winners and for taking the "Best Club Participation" award.

After taking "Best Club Participation" at llano last year during the Buggy Blast, and now the Nevada show we are becoming a force to be reckoned with, right?

No comment about the gas pedal. ;-) ;-) ;-)

Well yesterday was full of "firsts" for this old gal! First time in a REAL fire truck! And the first time to ride a Razor!! Thank you Gloria and Billy! Both were awesome!!

Had a great time with our fellow buggy lovers, Gloria and Billy, Christie and Russell, and Bob and Pam!
Looking forward to Marble Falls and getting together again with all of our buggy friends.
:D

Looks like a good time. Glad to see Greg made it over... with buggy? Don't see it in the line up... I hope so. Oh and I'm sure you could blame those monster twins on your pedal breaking, or could it be the lead that you put in your right sandle since they were installed?
