Didn't anybody tell you Bryan? They moved the classic to next weekend so it would not interfere with Easter bunny festivities.

Couldn't see the pictures full size. How did the show go? How many VW's this year? How many Buggies? Was the buggy that won last year even though it couldnt drive off the trailer there? Was it completed? Maybe we'll see you at the blast!

Hmmm, if the word "tow" is used during a cruise... I was just wondering.

Here are a few photos of the campsite we mooched on and a few pics of the cars that were still there when we finally showed up Sunday. The Classic was awesome, as usual.

If anyone's interested, I have a few photos of basically buses and beetles from the Classic as well; just haven't uploaded them yet.

The Mechler's were total moochers this weekend! Thanks so much for letting us hang out with the group at Oakwood RV; you guys rock! I think Billy should get an award for mending everyone's food on the pit.

Cheers..

Even though we were only able to join for the Friday cruise, as always with this group, we had an great time hanging with you all.

Lisa and Richard, the pictures are great. Thank you for sharing these with all of us.

I clocked the Friday cruise, from start to finish, at 174 miles!
The weather was great and the scenery was incredible. Great job Mr Porter!
We did 317 miles in the rail for the day.

Truly had a great day with you all.

The little chain that BillK skillfully attached on the trophy to the buggy in tow (the buggy that should have been purple), is in the process of being chainged to a strap (appropriately), in preparation for the next recipient. In addition; a nice green color (very close to the green in the above photos) has been procured to complete the job. Ahem.. My compliments to the photographer.

Was this with the new carbs? I think the problem was there were too many green buggy's so one had to bow out.

Will the plaque PRESENTATION CEREMONY be a formal dress-up affair, or can we come dressed casual?

Also, Ken & Dave, I heard one of the Buggy Blast Poker Run prizes was going to be a gas gauge. I've got a friend who would sure like to win that one. :D

Ken,

You asked how it was to ride in a car not to finish a cruise....

The green buggy with the new carbs which was not mechanically worked on during the cruise did finish the cruise under its own power.
