Jan 25th in the town square(main st) All makes of cars are allowed but it is put on by the BMW car club. VW's are more than welcome as they are German after all. May trailer the buggy out there for the day, weather permitting. I'll post a link(details) tomorrow.

Man, Schulenburg: That's going back to my roots. Post up the details when you have them. I may have a real interest in making this one.

Here's an email I received from the show organizer:

You can come on out and register your car between noon and two. Formal judging will occur after two - of course, it's pretty informal so if you get there after two, that's okay. I'll let you slide. Classes are american "old school" and "new school" and Euro Old and New and we're also going to have the ugly car award (which you don't have to participate in if you don't want).

So, yup, if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Hope to see you there,
Nikki

It may be a little chilly for this but at least there is no rain forecast. The food at Singleman hall was pretty good the last time we were there.

Went and got the buggy from storage and drove around the hood for a while. We have a memorial to go to at 10 an will head to Schulenburg afterward. Hope to be there around 12:30. Only staying until 5 and then heading back to Katy. See ya there Scott.

Thanks Brian for showing up... I was feeling really out of place, still enjoying the eyes and reactions to a "kit" car amoung a bunch of BMW's. There were a bunch of, "this is real cool" comments. I enjoyed the conversation and company. Hope to see y'all again down the road...

We had a good time.

Sadly, I didnt take any pictures. Just visiting with Scott and eating at Senglmen Hall. Plenty of BMW glimmer. A couple of older ones(late 60's early 70's), some Mercedes, Porsche's , even an old Fiat X/19. See you all at the next gathering.
