Coast to Coast Cruise

I got a call today from a California man named Mel Folkertsma. (Greg had given him my name and number) His daughter lives the nearby town of Sugar Land. He trailered his Buggy to her house and will be driving from her house to Little Rock to meet up with the Coast to Coast Cruise and then travel with them to the Atlantic in North Carolina.

We met at a Denny's and he is a very nice man. Linda and I had an absolutely delightful time of visiting with him. We are hoping to maybe have dinner with he and his wife when he returns to his daugher's house.

I stayed with Mel and Paulette on one of my trips to Lone Pine Ca (Death Valley.) Great folks.
Mel told me he plans to leave Sunday morning ( I think) and drive the 450 some odd miles up hiway 59 to meet up with the Sea to Sea cruise in North Little Rock on Sunday Oct.13.
Then continue with the Nags Head NC. for Manx on the Banks event.

I think I got the name wrong: It's "Sea to Sea" cruise, not "Coast to Coast". Sorry about that.

Its going to be a really wet cruise up 59 on Sunday. His left arm is going to get tired cranking that wiper.
