DLK Dubsplash

Here is a good show the DLK is putting on in the Dallas area. We should invade the place with Buggies, especially the folks living up that way.

FYI, this looks like a great PR job.

This isn't far off, July 8. Anybody planning to attend this?
Looks like I'll be able to make this one...it's only a few miles from the house. Got to love that!

apparently the pre registration for this (which ends June 15) is right at 200 entries!
Sounds like this is going to be quite a big gathering.

anybody interested in meeting up near Midway Road and West Park/Hebron Parkway on the Plano-Carrollton line for breakfast?
We can cruise to the show from there (without getting on the freeway), it's about 8 or 9 miles to Sandy Lake Park.

Anybody that's interested, let me know and I'll check with a couple of places to see if we can park trailers there for the day.

It was a good show. Lots of really nice cars, I think they had over 300 in attendance. Sandy Lake Park is a good place for a show. July 8 was a bit hot though.
As long as you could get shade and a breeze it was very tolerable. Das Luftkuhlers did a great job with a well organized and member supported. I'm looking forward to next year.
Cars were parked and judged by class. Awards were Best Of and Top 25.
From the class that was represented by some very nice (imho) glass buggies, rails, and bajas only one made the top 25 group...but then again, there were some very nice Type 1, 2, 3 and 4s. The show was an actual judged show. Not participant judged.
