Salutations to you people that put this thing together and made this another memorable event! Sandy and I are very thankful for the friends we have made through this club and hope that we remain, and the group continues to grow; we truly feel blessed.

Hey Scott, could you post-up the dimensions of the "Corn" bag game, Ken really needs to practice before our next get-together, and Sandy and I enjoyed playing it so much, we'd like to have one to have around just fer fun.

Here are the pics we took;

Also; thanks to everyone for coming by for the wine tasting, we really appreciated it and hope we can do that again.

Cheers..

What a weekend. Great to see everyone and so sorry to all those who could not make this. We hope to see you all next time.

Bill K those crackers were amazing and Linda K as usual your cookies quickly and mysteriously disappear. I hardly got any at the Meet and Greet! Good thing Delia found a couple that were accidentally placed into a Ziploc and somehow dropped into a box we brought home.

Thanks so much to Richard and Sandy's hospitality on Sunday. The stop was nearly perfect. I mean the cheese, crackers and store wines were awesome! At first I thought "what a great guy Richard was" pouring the wine, then I realized it was always into his glass. Then all I could think is... poor Sandy. :D

Lets do all this again... thanks for all the pictures and for sharing them.

Ken and Dave, and their families...Thank you very much for all the planning and the smooth execution on a wonderful weekend...minus the rain. I believe we all had fun and gathered up a bunch of fond memories. Can't wait to do this again. Looking forward to the Round-up.

First, a step back in time: Thanks go out to Greg Rardin for all the time and effort he put into putting on all the Buggy Blasts up until the last two.

And now, Ken and Dave, thank you so much for picking up the ball and carrying the Blast forward for all of us to enjoy. Once again this year you guys did an outstanding job. Just as Scott said, everything just flowed smoothly and I know that sort of thing doesn't just happen, it's a product of your work and planning. And I know full well, Delia and Christy also need to be included in our gratitude.

It was fantastic getting to see all my Buggy friends again and getting to make new friends and acquaintances. I'm chalking up another good memory.

I just want to echo what Bryan said. I think it would be nice to give those folks a nice review for how accommodating they were to our group

Say, did anyone get any names and contact information for the folks who came with the 3 Rails? I want to be sure to invite them to the Roundup but don't know how to do so.

Likewise, if any of you guys with the rails are checking in on the site please give me a call: 281-238-0577.

I have the contact info for the Sand Rail guys. And yes they are planning on comming to the Roundup. They were at the last Roundup and had a blast. They had the exploding shock at the Roundup...... I think they were impressed that we found all the pieces and were able to get it put back together.

Sandy told me several people wanted the recipe for the crackers I had sent for the Mechler wine tasting. I'm glad some folks enjoyed them, so, here it is:

2 Cups of grated cheese (I have used sharp cheddar and fiesta blend and Mexican blend) (The ones at the Blast were fiesta blend and/or Mexican blend)
1/2 Cup softened butter
1 Cup all purpose flour
1/2 Tsp Kosher salt (I would recommend a scant 1/2 teaspoon)
3/4 Tsp ground red pepper
1 Cup Rice Crispies

Pre heat oven to 350 degrees
Combine first five ingredients with an electric mixer until thoroughly combined
Shape into 3/4" to 1" balls
Place the balls on an ungreased cookie sheet
Flatten each by hand patting until about the thickness of the Rice Crispies (That means pretty thin) (This process can be sped up by placing wax paper over the balls and first flattening each with the bottom of a flat glass and then hand flattening each to get a bit thinner) (Linda taught me that one) :D
Bake 25 - 28 minutes or until golden brown (26 minutes seems to work best with our oven, but they can over bake, so maybe start with 24 -25 minutes and check them to see if they have gotten crisp)

This should make approximately 30 crackers

Sorry I archived this section too soon and in doing so I messed up the permissions, so no one was able to see Bill's last post with the cracker recipe. Should be back online now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I didn't take many, but click the picture to go to the few I did take. There's a video of Porter catching some air in the album.

People would always say that purple buggy can really fly!!!!!!!!!!! There is proof right there. I think I did something similar at the last round up. A cattle guard also makes a good ramp at the right speed!!!!

I was thinking the same thing. Someone out there in Texas Manx Club Land needs to photoshop a police car coming around the corner behind you; LIGHTS FLASHING!
