What product(s) do you guys recommend to remove swirl marks? In general what do you use on the painted surfaces of your buggies?

I've actually, in the last few years, have become pretty proficient in that area, not for profit, but for fun... the best two I've seen is 3M's swirl remover, or AutoMagic's swirl remover...

What are you using for polish and waxing? If you're using a wool pad, try a seperate foam pad for the final buffing also...

if you only want to use wool, try using an activator to keep your polishes 'wet', and then either foam or a separate wool pad for the final polishes...

personally, I do the compounds and the 'cutting' with a wool pad, the polishes with a foam pad, and I do the final waxing by hand....

I agree with carlos on wool and foam pad
if you go to your local automotive paint shop
he can set you up with everything you need for under 75 bucks

did you color sand (wet sand) your car after paint?
alot of people ask me about my paint
I belive color sanding is the key to its shine

I used a 3m two stage for buffing then cover it with
the new miguers next generation its a polimer, not wax.
my car being black just kills a wax in the summer

Oh yeah, levelling that clear is great...I had to do it to my new suburban, and it's so much better, no more orange peel, no more 'FLA'... :D
