Side Pods

How do you install side pods? The manxter kit didn't come with any instructions on how to install pods. Do have to shave them a bit to make them fit?

I had to do a lot of trimming, but a little at a time.
It was disappointing that I had Berrien pods for a Berrien body, and they fit so poorly.

All side pods fit sorta poorly. It is not the fault of the one who made them but rather the curing process of fiberglass, it never stops curing. That is why most hoods on Dune Buggies have ridges, scoops or the such. The hoods would sag if the did not ohave such reinforcements, just look at the original manxes, they were very well made but the real old one tend to sag.

The Manxter pods do have to be trimmed a little, but trial and fit is the easiest way to go..... a little at a time and you will have a great set on your ride.
