002 trans or 091 with 33" tires

Ive got a 3 rib (002) trans in the orange buggy that sometimes pops out of 4th gear under hard acceleration. I also have a 6 rib (091) trans that I was going to use in Chrissy's rail, but I think Ill just use a type 1 trans in the rail.
So will the 6 rib work in my orange buggy (33" rear tires) or will it be geared way to high?
