need help w/rear irs

i have an irs chassis i want to lower the rear. i am going to use drop spindles in the front i want to bring the rear down to match. i've read several articles on how to do this,but i just dont understand all the degree and minute mumbo jumbo can someone explain it to me in a simple way. i have not begun to reassemble the pan becuase i would like to get this done so that i dont have to go back to it please any help would be great.
