generic or specific part

Postby carlos del carpio » 27 Tue Jun, 2006 7:03 pm

Hey folks, what's shakin?

I finally opened my brake kit..yup, it's been boxed up for a bit over a year... while I was ceramic coating them, I noticed that one caliper only had ONE clip, the clip that holds the pad in place..is this a generic part I can get anywhere, or is it item specific? The calipers came from So. Cal Imports...

or, do any of you guys have an extra one laying around???

thanks!!
you must have pride....in your ride....

Should be a stock clip pin, but I would call them up and tell them about it!
I always check out the calipers I send out because they do get out of the warehouses with pieces missing.
If at first you don't succeed, beat the pshaw out of the business partner, and then go at it alone! LOL!
