Trans Cable

Can you get a cable the mounts from the Trans to the chassis from Autozone or Hi/Lo Auto parts without having to ordering from a VW Shop? Just wondering as CIP1 has a $25.00 min and the strap is $10.00 and that's all I need at the moment.

Are you talking about the ground strap or the clutch cable bowden tube?
If at first you don't succeed, beat the pshaw out of the business partner, and then go at it alone! LOL!

yes the ground strap can be found at most auto parts
