Dave it's not the screen!!!!!
Check the oil level and check for blow by.

Hi Bryan,

Thanks for the input. I think the oil level is OK. When changing the oil, I have always used 2.5 quarts of 20W50. I did not think the screen would be the problem, but along with the oil, this is the only item changed since Fredericksburg.

With my current engine set up, I do not believe there is any crankcase ventilation (no tube running from oil fill tube to air cleaner / no breather box system installed). Could this be contributing to the issue? This is how I ran in Fredericksburg with no oil throw issue.

I received the MST sand seal adapter and will proceed to install the sand seal pulley this week to see how this performs. Would still like to better understand why I had so much oil throw on Saturday with the standard pulley set up and what can be done to correct. It sure made a mess of the engine. Appreciate any further input you have.

You need the tube from the filler to air cleaner this will let any crankcase pressure out the breather not the pulley.
