Wide Ball Joint Front End

Postby Ken » 28 Tue Feb, 2012 3:16 pm

I would like to get a wider than stock front end on my rail and stop my tires from rubbing.
I find narrowed beams all over the place, but all the widened FE's I find say "for link pin".
What am I not understanding? Point me to an online source if you can, please.
Something with some lift adjustment would be great.

Probably rare as hens teeth

Typically wide beams are for off road, and the Link Pin is always recommended for off road over the ball joint. Probably going to be hard to find one.

Can you alter the frame to accept a Link beam instead?

6 inch widened with four adjusters set at stock to raised. Do to arrive today.
But a brake ghost might make it hard to make the Classic.
I'll start a separate thread on the brakes.
