Gas Lid Install for Bounty Hunter

Postby Amdavis76 » 26 Sat Nov, 2011 9:22 pm

Hey All,

I am trying to install the filler cap for my gas tank and when I originally cut it out (rusted in) it was just a metal filling tube that slipped inside the metal filling tube from the tank. Does this sound right? Shouldn't there be some hose or something in-between? Here are some pictures of what I'm talking about. Any advice would be helpful...thanks!

Im thinking bead rolling an o-ring groove in the removable sleeve? It looks pretty tight in there for a hose. This is just a guess.
It's EASY.... if you know how.
