What is the most durable semi-gloss black aerosol paint?

Im installing an Empi Skid plate on my sand rail. Im wondering if there is a more durable spray paint than the Krylon I have been using to paint things up to this point. I've noticed that the Krylon paint tends to chip and scratch easily.

Granted, damage to a skid plate under the sand rail wont be visible,....and its easy enough to get under the rail a few times a year and re-spray any scratched areas with an aerosol.....but figured it couldnt hurt to ask if there was something more durable out there

I'm also concerned about the paint's ability to stand up to extended exposure to engine oil (from the occasional drip) and possibly the occasional fuel drip since all drips will now be caught by the skid plate.

Try aerosol bed liner on the skid plate. Also the ceramic brake caliper paint I used on my front end seems to be holding pretty good.
It's EASY.... if you know how.
