Engine tins

On the subject of engine tins....what are you guys running? Do you use the sled tins under the cylinders? How about the exhaust tin coming off the oil cooler. Any experience with/without. Engine temps???

I don't have a working temp gauge, so this probably isn't very helpful, but I have do have the small flat piece between the cylinders and the push rod tubes. If that's what your talking about. And the top cylinder covers and then the dog house which covers the oil cooler. I don't have anything at the cooler exhaust. Not sure I know what that is.

It would probably be a good idea to have covers for your pushrod tubes on the underside of your cylinders. If you pick up a rock dent there it could mean a frozen pushrod, which translates into being dead in the water. Or on the side of the road at least.
