I'm installing a 72 plate oil cooler on my buggy, fan and thermostat. It will be mounted under the rear passenger seat parallel to the ground. My concern is when the engine starts up and it pumps the oil to the cooler just how much oil is still in the block? Should I add a oil sump or am I worring over nothing? Also will a check valve help to keep the oil in the cooler?
It's EASY.... if you know how.
