I know there is one out there, I'll look in my files tonight...but not to discourage you, as I'm totally for 'doing it yourself', but with all the right tools for cutting, the right tools for welding, the chance you may have a bad or uneven cut, the beam adjusters aren't aligned correctly, etc. etc.. it may be a good investment, they're what...$130-ish bucks?
you must have pride....in your ride....

Yea that is what I did on my current buggy the $130ish beam and it works great.
Now on my next buggy off road style I want to run a wider beam no one sells wider bj beams so Ill have to build one.
I thank Ive got it figured out but though it might be a good idea to see how other people have installed the adjusters. Just to be sure im on the write track.

what I can tell you is that I have seen they use a pipe/tubing cutter to make the cuts. nice clean straight cut.
now welding back thats a different story.
good luck Ill see what I can find also

Hey the pic worked, well this is what I have done so far on my beam.
The one on top doner beam is standard size the one on the bottom is now 5" wider with adjusters. It will be going on Chrissy's new hawk buggy. This buggy will be off road style with 2x3 rear trailing arms a bus trans & thing spindles up front.
