Front turn signal light?

Postby Classic Manx 71 » 14 Mon Nov, 2005 6:52 pm

Can someone please provide me with the exact identity of the turn signal lights used on the green Manx in the members photo list which has the name "Robin S" under it? I couldn't fine a Robin S on the Memberlist. Thanks.

They are the front turn signal lights off of either a karman ghia or a type three vehicle, I'm not sure but I'll bet that the backs of the housings have been modified to be flat....oh, they are upside down from the way that they are normally mounted on the original cars. I did a set like that for a kit car I was working on once!
If at first you don't succeed, beat the pshaw out of the business partner, and then go at it alone! LOL!

many of the original Manxes used the early ghia front lights mounted in the front of the fender lip.
