cylinder 3 not firing

cylinder 3 not firing

What would be the common causes of this? i checked the exhaust pipe and it was still cool to the touch,while the other 3 were hot.

Check for spark and if that's good it's probably a valve. You can check the compression to confirm.

Also, check plug wire to that cylinder for continuity from the distributor to the plug. Carbon wires sometimes break. :)
