Also from this same VW Mag in 1969:

Dean Jeffries' Kyote body is one-piece, has 15 gal. gas tank, sells for $495 solid color, $100 more for flake.

Fun Hugger uses stock VW bottom with no cutting, and more stock VW parts than most, sells for $445.

Kellison's Sandpiper XP1 roadster kit is $450, with plenty of bolt-on accessories available.

Irwin's Wrangler comes in off-road kit for $475, and with full road equipment for $599

Meyers Manx is best known VW Buggy, here is dolled up for street show with tiger stripe soft top. (Shows a photo of it in the magazine)

Jeffries' Kyote body can be had with pearl or candy paint, racing or pin striped, in 51 colors

EMPI's Sportster was one of the first VW-buggies, is of steel. It may be angular but looks like no other. Also comes in a long wheelbase so you can take the kids on the Baja Run!

Fun Hugger from the rear shows beauty of metaflake paint, chromed wheels, extractor exhaust system.

EMPI Imp Kit shows all the pieces you get. Everything else you need is part of the VW you use as the basis.

Meyers Manx "A Kit" consists only of body shell, is for the builder who really wants to do it himself.

ATV Industries (formerly Diana Imports) Sandshark body shell sells for $395, should total around $1000.
