I've always liked the definition an old fellow gave me of retirement: "You can stay in bed until you are through sleeping" :D :D

LMAO... you guys are funny. And thank you very much. Yes Friday was my last day as an employed man, but I will always have "the" boss and I know you know what I means. And yes Richard, somehow and for some reason, the coffee does taste better. And Greg... I have been trying to explain to my daughter Angela for the last several days, that age and retirement are two totally different things... you're not helping.

Well Ken, it’s day two, and I’ll bet that coffee is better today than it was yesterday. It just gets better and better. And wipe that smile off your face..

I think that would require a surgical procedure.

Why the heck does a 9am first cup of coffee taste so much better than a 6am first cup of coffee? Weird!

Oh and I'm learning all kinds of new things already. Like I bet you didn't know that beds DO NOT make themselves!!!!! Turns out last one out of it has to make it. :D

Okay I've got my first "retired" weekend under my belt and I'm thinking I may have made a mistake about this. It seems the little misses considers everyday a work day when you're retired... not what I thought I was signing up for.

Well to be honest, with the holidays and all the family stuff that's been going on, it's hasn't been very easy to tell that I'm retired. And the nasty wet weather we've had forever and now some cold stuff setting in, my opportunities to "do my own thing" have been fewer than I'd like. But even so my goal everyday is to spend as much time outside and off a computer as possible and I have been very pleased with how that is working out. Thank you for asking fellow retiree and my retirement coach. :D
