$76 million Fredericksburg resort plans 2020 opening
A resort promising to be the first full-service hotel property in Fredericksburg is planning to break ground this fall and open in early 2020. The 150-room, $76 million Seven Hills Resort and Conference Center is to be located on a 22-acre plot on the west end of Fredericksburg, at the intersection of US 290 West and US 87.

Maybe we should do our own Dune Buggy Classic in Fredericksburg in April. With the VW Classic gone room rates should moderate a bit.
Perhaps a weekend other than the one the Classic used because it seems there was always always a day or two of bad weather on that weekend.
And when this new place opens it may help lower rates a bit also.
