front bumper and rear cage

front bumper and rear cage

hey i was just informed my front bumper bar and rear cage were to rusty far gone to clean up in the acid dip and now i dont know if i can still get them stripped and just paint them or where do i end up going for new ones.

Dont be a goof, have Mike build you a rollcage! You have been talking about that for a long time now.... Its not that much money, and it will give your buggy a GREAT look! Go for it! Its OK to spend some of that money!

or have Neil at Hawkeye build you one..since he's done rails for 7,500 years, you can't go wrong with the knowledge and experience! :lol: :lol:

But, he can build a great bumper or roll bar....

Hey I was just down in Hawkins today and Neil doesn't have a thing to do. He only has four buggies going at the same time and a VW trike, don't why He couldn't queeze one more.

no faron not the buggy roll cage i am gonna have that built, i am talking about the rear cage that protects the motor. the one i have the chrome is peelling bad and rusty. i sent it out to have it re-chromed and they said it was to far gone. does anyone make those? or does neal make those?

I will get one from him for sure! I want one for the Front & Back Bumper! I will paint them to match my Cage, I am not a big fan of chrome! In fact I am in the process of removing all the chrome on my MINI.
