David Head Update

David Head had his surgery (prostate removal) yesterday, surgery went well, recovery not so good and quite a bit longer than expected, but he doing much better today; prognosis is good! He's at Andy Anderson (sp?) in Houston and he may get to go home today but they may want him to stay close (not travel all the way home) in case there are any post-op issues. He sounded really good on the phone!

Thanks guys,
We finally made it home from Houston.
Other than feeling like I've been run over by a Mack truck, I feel great.
I go back in about 6 weeks to find out if they got it all. But the surgeon thinks they did.
I never really felt nervous because I knew there where so many pray warriors out there.
Thanks to each and everyone of you.

Thanks guys. I'm back at home. Feeling rougher than I thought.
Evidently a needle broke off and they had to find it by extending the incision.
Plus I had trouble coming out of anesthesia. And when I did I had dry heaves most of that first night.
Needless to say... My abdomen is really sore.
But I'm getting a little better each day.

Getting better slowly but surely. I go back to Houston in about 3 weeks for my post-op visit.
In the mean time, I keep doing my kegals (Look it up. LOL) And trying to get stronger.

Not sure what the second half of that definition is about, but at least you're exercising!
