anyone around Conroe

I am looking at a bug in Conroe for a title and chassis. Is there anyone in that are that could look at it before I drive all the way there. The guy is not real sure what he has. I want an irs rear and bj front. I could pay you something for your time and gas. Thank you Brian

If it is a 1969 or newer it will have both of those requests. Make sure the title matches the pan. Have him take a picture of the vin on the chassis and text it to you. Have him take a picture of the rear axle tubes. If there is a rubber boot on the end by the wheel it is IRS

thank you for the info Brian, I am concerned about condition of tunnel and frame head Main chassis not being rusted out. I don't care about the floor pans.

Are you looking at the bug that has had the top cut off and is full of misc. parts, no engine. I saw that bug last month.

no it is a red one, less motor. the ad is down and he will trade a riding lawnmower I have. I just wondered if someone could put eyes on it before I drive all that way.

I can't go by and look for you. I'm in Dallas, but I bought a Manx from a guy in Conroe last month and when I went to pick it up, he had a bug he was selling for $500. If it was that one I could fill you in about it. Thanks Rick
