I got a call from my Doc yesterday informing me my surgery could be moved up to August 21 if I wanted. Obviously, I'm ready to get this done, so I jumped all over it.

Let's all keep our friend's Bill and Linda in thought today as Bill goes through this medical procedure. I am of a firm believer that positive thoughts and prayer are an important part of the healing process.

I sure don't mean for the Forum to be the place to be airing my medical issues, but so many of you have been praying and thinking of me that I felt an update would be in order.

Well, after the longest two weeks of my life I received the biopsy report. My type of prostate cancer unfortunately is one bad boy variety. However, it was all containted in my prostate which has been removed along with the nearby lymph nodes which also were clear of cancer. I will have to have a bit of radiation treatment, but all in all my Doc is optimistic about my prognosis.

So, from the bottom of our hearts I want you all to know how very much you mean to Linda and I, and how blessed we both feel to be able to count folks like you as our friends.
