Good morning/afternoon/evening to members. I am new to this forum, at least as far as posting. I have been coming to the forum for information for about 10 years, on and off. This past summer I did a complete body off restoration of my 1965 Buggy. I repainted, rewired, reupholstered, rebuilt, replaced, and sprayed. I have had my engine redone two other times but this time it was powder coated and boosted a little bit.

I had been to a get together in Solado once, after getting my buggy about 10 years ago, and learned alot from some of the members. Now that I have done all this work and spent the money, I think it is time to enjoy the fruits of my labor with like minded folks.

I have made some contacts along the way and would love to make some more. I will try and post a picture of my buggy, just about complete. I guess it will never be finished...lol

I'm in San Antonio. I am also going to the VOSA get together and cruise in Boerne on Oct. 20 and 21. I would love to have some buggy company.

I'm Georganne & I live in Lindale, just north of Tyler in East Texas. I bought a buggy about a year ago & love it!

Come on up to Lindale for the American Legion Chili Cookoff & Antique Car & Tractor show on Sat, October 20. Enter your buggy for free in the Antique Car Show. Spend the night & Sunday morning we can all go for a ride, or maybe we can ride Saturday after the Cookoff/Show is over. There's lots of great roads between here & there and lots of great roads in East Texas!
