paint advice

Postby FatDaddy » 07 Tue Aug, 2012 11:30 pm

I hope i put this in the right spot.
I'm getting the body back saturday to sand and paint. with budget being limited
what would be the best way to paint and sand? do i need a primer coat on fiberglass?
what would be the best way to make it look as good as possible without spending a lot?
any and all advice and criticism is welcome...thanks in advance

I used a high build primer on mine. Couple of coats and sanded it all down nice. Fills in any pinholes you might have.

I painted mine myself with a base and a clear and buffed it out. Cost was minimal, but spent a lot of time wet sanding and buffing. Its not perfect but I change the color every year just for kicks so it doesn't matter.
