Well, after being a wanna-be for about a year and a half, I finally picked up a dune buggy. It's about 90% the way I want it to look, but changing the last 10% will give me something to work on and keep me out of trouble.

My name is Robert and I look forward to meeting you all at the various shows and gathering. Since this is my first buggy, I will probably be asking a lot of dumb questions and trying to pick some brains.

Hello Ken,
Thanks for the welcome, and I too hit Cabelas way too often. I live close to the intersection of FM1626 and FM 967, so you probably pass by on your way to Cabelas. Looking forward to meeting you.

BTW- - isn't there some kind of car enthusiats gathering at Cabelas, on a regular basis?

Any chance you can join us Saturday for a River Road cruise? It's in your general area and it would be great to have you with us.

Thanks, I saw the River Road cruise posted and wanted to go. Not often you see something in your back yard.
As luck would have it, we're going to be out of town on that weekend for a previous commitment.
