Here is the link to vote! He is a very nice fella and close friends. His son and me were best friends and was the best man in my wedding. He loved VW's and passed it to his dad. He was tragically killed in a car accident. This car was painted and put away in storage. I was visiting them one day and through the thick layer of dust I could see the shape of a Bug. He told me yep it was painted and rolled back there and has sat because they could not get anyone to get it running or things done that they wanted to do. I convinced them to just drag it out and I would get it, wash it off and get it movable at least. Once I looked over it we agreed on a plan, ditch the semi-automatic and replace it was a rebuilt 4-speed. They had a 200 amp stinger alternator they need to power the special dealer only rockford amp. I went to town on plans and wanted to run serpintine for more surface area on the pulleys, gut it all done and working just fine. They came the engine, needs to run on its own power and this one not a plug in stereo car, it was to be drivable, so engine work done, cleaned up and sprayed with chrome pieces and capped with TR-Mil Euro exhaust. Check out the video and you can see a shot of the alternator and pulley system, came out really clean. Please go and vote and share with as many other VW groups and folks as you can, lets get a VW in the books!
