Troy M Long Body Project

Postby Texasbuggys » 12 Sun Jun, 2011 2:17 pm

Here are a few pictures of Troys long body project. Some of you met Troy with me at the Classic this year looking for parts. His dad is Buggiebob also know as Bobby M and many of you know of their entire buggy crew of brothers. Ok this one started with a Texasbuggys provided raised long body green metal flake body and matching flat side panels. From this Troy spent a little time looking over and getting ideals from my long cars and went to town building himself a fine tube chassis. He also used a few Texasbuggys tools and with another long body builder ironically named Troy also, twisted up the cage and nerf bars and welded it all up, blasted and painted it up. It is running 3"x3" rear arms, 930 CV setup a widened BJ beam and the 2110cc rebuilt motor is driving a 3 rib type 2 tranny. 33" tires out back helps complete the look Troy was going for. I heard he fired it up yesterday and by next weekend it will be on the road! Plans to make a maiden voyage to the Wet and Wild River Run in New Branusfels /Gruene area with us in a few weeks. Very fine job Troy and he said dad did a great job wiring it up!
