Getting started on 1st buggy

Postby malooga » 06 Sun Mar, 2011 12:18 pm

Well we finally are getting to tear down and see what all needs to be done.
Not sure who built this thing or when it was built but it appears to us it was a good build.
We are in new territory with this project. Got lots of ideas though.
Was wondering if there was a reputable place here in Texas to purchase engines?
If anybody has that info can you please pass it along. I need more horsepower than what I have now.
Also, I have a disability and really need to put an auto transmission in this buggy.
I was told to look for a type 3. Can anyone give me any info on an auto transmission?

Hope everyone has a great day.
