Postby Aquabuggy » 09 Sat Aug, 2008 9:18 pm

Well I got the new long body that will be all girlified with a fully auto trans and some other girl stuff. Im on the verge of starting the build :D , then all at once something happened .

Here I am minding my own business calling on an ad I saw for some used weber carbs well one thing led to another and this followed me home today.

I ask Chrissy which one I should build first, well those of you know her know what her answer was (thanks alot David & Edie   ) So for now the long body build is on the back burner  poor buggy hanging from the rafters.

Oh well just have to knock out this rail build ASAP

Yep Chris, super nice score! That will be fun! Looks kind of like an invader frame. And yes Paul is super cool dude!

Making a little progress on Chrissy's rail.
Cut off a bunch of brackets and tabs that Im not gonna be using and cut some steel for the floor. She wanted aluminum plate like I have in Shrek but that stuff cost more then this rail is worth, so some leftover steel plate is what its getting ;-) .
Image
I got a spray on bed liner kit as a door prize at a local car show, Im thinking Ill use that on the floor.

Don't think this is gonna cut it do you? Its got a park lock but I think you need a separate mechanical E-brake to pass inspection.

Looking good Chris!
Hey we have a new rail in Vic! Really radical one, in the transition of becoming street legal. 151" wheel base 4 seat rail, a-arm front with air bags and big dual piviot long arms out back on bags running 2+ liter turbo dual carb system. Pics coming soon.
