This is a picture of our shop/garage. I like to call it "the shop" but my wife, Karen, insists on parking her car there from time to time, so it serves as a garage as well.

Also pictured is my personal race car. It's a 1964 sedan running a Graffeo built motor and gearbox with all the "goodies". The motor is an 86x94 and transmission is an 091 bus gearbox.

Welcome to the Texas Manx Club too, Rickey.

The quality parts used to build our transmissions come from manufacturers such as Dave Folts, ERCO, FTC, Gene Berg Enterprises, Rancho, and Weddle Engineering.

Rickey Graffeo has been building and racing Volkswagens for over 20 years. He got his start in the bayous of Louisiana in a little town called Kenner. This explains his funny accent and the raccoon that serves as the mascot for Graffeo Gearboxes.

If you see us at the track, feel free to stop by to ask questions or just say hello.

Welcome to the Texas Manx Club, Rickey Graffeo and Graffeo Gearboxes.

You may know that Ricky has made is name primarily in VW drag racing circles. That experience has given him ample time to learn the VW transmission. Graffeo Gearboxes is located in Crowley, Texas. South and west of Ft. Worth.

Here's a little bit about Rickey from his website.
